Women’s OutLook and City of North Port  partner
for upcoming Women’s Expo

North Port, Florida –Women’s OutLook magazine and the City of North Port have partnered to bring the largest women’s event to Southwest Florida. The Women’s EXPO of SWFL will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at George Mullen Activity Center & Grounds, 4956 City Center Blvd in North Port. Women’s EXPO of SWFL will host more than 150 exhibitors, live music on stage, local authors, educational seminars, a food court, demonstrations, a blood drive, shopping and more! Grand prize giveaway is a Carnival Cruise for two, courtesy of Gale West. Entry fee is $3 per person, children 12 and under, free.

With a median age of 39, the City of North Port is home to more than 56,000 residents including nearly 10,000 school children. This 103-square-mile metropolis is the third largest city in landmass in the state and the fourth fastest growing in population. North Port’s population recently surpassed the City of Sarasota, making it the largest city in Sarasota County. North Port has two Interstate 75 exits, making an easy-access destination for folks throughout the region to find.

 “It makes sense to host the largest Women’s Expo in Southwest Florida here in North Port, a place that celebrates community,” said Community Outreach Manager Erin Bryce. “We are proud to have the Women’s Expo inside our City limits.”

“Women’s Expo of Southwest Florida is in its third year as has proven to be unlike any event that has been held in this area,” said Diana Donlon, founder of Women’s Expo of Southwest Florida and Founder/Publisher of Women’s OutLook. “Our mission is to bring together resources that enlighten, enhance and educate women, and to offer businesses a resource to reach their target market.”

Women’s OutLook is a monthly publication with readers in the Charlotte and Sarasota area and beyond. The complimentary magazine has gained a strong readership, now in its fourth year of publication. Its content addresses various women’s topics, some of which include: health, relationships, local travel, fitness, and community awareness.
